Best tool for the money in my opinion

Just follow the instructions and you can get as close to production cross cuts every time. I have used it on deck boards, 1x4, 1x6, 1x8 and a number of 2xs. No problem with the gripper tabs yet. They hold well but they could be bigger.

Works Great: if you respect yourself

This thing works like a dream and couldn't be better especially at the price. I suggest owning a real circular saw if you want better results. Cryobi P506 users need not apply.

A bit to light weight

Personally I would have liked to see the main part made from aluminum with the guide still plastic. It would give it some weight, it's a bit too flimsy. Instead of little pads that keep coming off bigger pads would have been better I think. Works okay. Could be better.

Square cut

I have 2 of these and I would not be without one. The reason I have 2 is because I have 2 different sizes of saws and I have one for each saw.

Works great on my Ryobi saw, after a trim.

By default the arm is a little too long for the left mount blade on my Ryobi cordless saw. So I adjust the arm all the way in, lined it up on a 2x4 and with a finishing blade, trimmed the end of the arm on the Square-Cut. Worked great and now I can make really accurate square cuts anywhere.

Doesn't work with Ryobi 18v cordless circular saw P506

I agree with Alex Qian. The adjustable arm sticks out a tad bit too much even at the shortest setting when used with the Ryobi P506.

Doesn't work with Ryobi P506

The adjustable arm is too long for the Ryobi P506! Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Great idea!

Bought this based on my experience with the KREG Pocket Hole Joint System. Tool and design are great and really saves time. Fast to calibrate and use. Replaces my large Speed Square and as an added bonus, automatically sets the kerf on the piece i am cutting.

Doesn't work with *all* saws

While the idea behind this device is sound, it doesn't work with all circular saws. My Porter Cable 20v cordless has the motor on the other side - the right - of the blade, so it is not possible to position the Square Cut so it will work. I will use it with my jig saw, though, so it isn't a total loss. If I acquire another circular saw, with the motor to the left of the blade, I am sure it will be a useful tool for making cross-cuts.
